Born on the northern coast of Peru, of Asian, Mexican and Peruvian descent. His innate vocation for drawing and painting manifested itself early. He trained in private workshops of renowned painters, one of them being Pedro Azabache Bustamante (Moche, 1918 - Moche, 2021), considered the last exponent of the Peruvian indigenous movement in painting and a member of the Grupo Norte, and León Ricaurte Miranda, (Mera , 1934 - Guayaquil, 2003) was an Ecuadorian painter, member of the informalist movement and the VAN Group (National Artistic Vanguard). In addition, Salvador Rosado studied Architecture and Civil Engineering.

Since the age of 15, he has participated in various painting exhibitions, both collective and individual, both in Peru and abroad. He has obtained various painting awards that recognize his talent and dedication.

He abandoned the comfort of urban life to enter the northern jungle of Peru, where he found inspiration in the symbols and codes of the ancient native communities, both jungle and Andean. His work seeks to represent and preserve the cultural wealth of these communities, capturing their essence through his art.

Throughout his career he has revealed in his work a visionary abstract surrealist ancestral past, a secret that only he knows, and he has allowed his canvases to come to life with mythical and fascinating cave images. His creativity and dedication continue to inspire those who have the privilege of knowing his work.

Salvador Rosado remains a passionate, indomitable and challenging artist, committed to his artistic creation.
