Salotti was born in Terni, Umbria in 1966 but her family came from Abruzzo.
In her girlhood, the painter, rather than playing with her friends, spent her free time in the house of her uncle, Bruno, who was a painter as well, standing still, mesmerized, to observe how from Bruno's paintbrush something real took shape.
No question had the right answer, so great was the symbiosis between the artist and his creation.
Salotti suddenly realizes that something new, some kind of ancestral recall inside her soul push her to paint perceiving that artistic expression would have marked her life forever.
She begins her involvement in the Art world, with the approval of the painter Victor Bussoletti, gratifying her humble spirit of self-taught artist, urging her to keep on painting.
In 2007, Salotti meets Giovannino Montanari, "the painter of the golden domes", in one of the most beautiful Umbrian villages.
Giovannino Montanari, President of the association named Arte per l'Arte, viewing her artwork pushes her to get out of her stubborn anonymity, Montanari, organizing cultural events, often invited her to exhibit her artwork, but she has always refused to exhibit the paintings because of her shyness and sullenness.
Today maturing her artistic conscience, the artist decided to express herself and present her artwork to the public.
