Durante mi infancia, pasé mucho tiempo solo, ya que mi madre tenía que trabajar para mantenernos. En esos momentos de soledad, creaba granjas llenas de pequeños animales y fantaseaba durante horas. Ese fue el origen de mi proceso creativo, un juego que sigo disfrutando hasta hoy. La infancia es nuestra patria, y regreso a ella cada vez que me siento perdido. Hubo muchas etapas en mi vida en las que me alejé del arte, pero siempre surgía en mí de manera incontenible, como una fuente fresca a la que me entregaba. Hace unos años, decidí hacer del arte el centro de mi vida, y fue la mejor decisión que he tomado. Me preparé académicamente y tuve la bendición de conocer a un maestro muy querido, Armando Villegas QEPD, quien creyó en mí, me dio confianza y, en los últimos años de su vida, me impulsó a no claudicar en esta pasión.
Me gusta usar materiales de calidad profesional y experimentar con ellos; gracias a esto, he creado una técnica personal en la pintura y el dibujo, desarrollando un estilo distintivo que combina lo abstracto y lo representativo. Tomo elementos de mi entorno en América del Sur y los principios teóricos del movimiento artístico "Universalismo Constructivo" del artista uruguayo Joaquín Torres García, para ofrecer una nueva mirada al mundo natural y fantástico. Los animales son una presencia central en mi trabajo, un recordatorio de nuestra conexión intrínseca con ellos y una llamada de atención al abuso que sufren en la industria alimentaria. La fusión de elementos abstractos y representativos en mi obra invita al espectador a explorar múltiples interpretaciones y a sumergirse en un mundo fantástico donde los colores, los juegos de transparencias, las texturas y las figuras animales y humanas coexisten de manera armoniosa.
