Nació en la CDMX en 1976, en donde reside actualmente. Estudió la licenciatura en artes visuales en la Escuela Nacional de Artes Plásticas, UNAM. Al final de sus estudios profesionales decidió suspender su actividad creativa, ante la noción de carecer del suficiente bagaje cultural para sostener el desarrollo de una obra equilibrada entre el discurso y la imagen. Ejerciendo durante más de 20 años la profesión de técnico en restauración y conservación de arte, tuvo contacto con distintas disciplinas y técnicas artísticas del amplio acervo nacional. A partir del año 2013 establece su taller de pintura de caballete para retomar su producción pictórica y plantear los principios en los que sustentará su obra, quedando determinada por el empleo de técnicas tradicionales de pintura al óleo, temática de corte social y un marcado respeto al espectador. Basado en dichos preceptos trabaja en una serie que busca retratar la complejidad del entorno cultural en el que nos desenvolvemos, sus contradicciones y contribuciones para el proceso civilizatorio que llamamos mexicanidad. A través del recurso figurativo busca reflejar la concepción de una identidad propia (establecida por el idioma, la religión, las costumbres y el territorio) que no se entiende a sí misma si no es a través de la mirada del otro "el de afuera" y su influencia, mediante el uso de símbolos que describen nuestra realidad entrampada entre la tradición y el progreso, la ritualidad y el pragmatismo y la fe y la ciencia, por lo tanto se propone la toma de conciencia y la aceptación de que vivimos una realidad mestiza, de raíces muy profundas y horizonte muy amplio.
