Turning Passion into Profit: My Journey as an Artist and Entrepreneur
As an artist, my passion for creating beautiful pieces knows no bounds. However, the reality is that passion alone doesn't always pay the bills. Lately, I've found myself needing to focus more on generating income from my art to support myself.
In my quest to turn my passion into a sustainable source of income, I've explored various online platforms that claim to sell art. Unfortunately, many of these platforms have fallen short of expectations, and some have even done more harm than good. But that's a topic for another day.
Instead, I've been channeling my efforts into building a presence on social media and slowly developing my own website. It's been a journey of trial and error, but I'm determined to find a solution that works for me.
Recently, I've joined Ignite Small Business Support startup program. Through this program, I've had the pleasure of working with a talented young woman named Hawanatu. She's been instrumental in helping me navigate the business side of being an artist, from marketing strategies to financial planning.
I'm incredibly excited about the opportunities that lie ahead and grateful for the support I've received along the way. With dedication and perseverance, I believe I can turn my passion into a thriving business.
