Romuald CANAS CHICO, painter of Spanish origin reveals his story to us through his works full of emotions and reconstructions.
Romuald Canas Chico, from an early age, was introduced to the art by a renowned painter in Cannes (Côte d'Azur) who transmitted to him his taste for pictorial art.
Thus, from the age of ten, he painted his very first work: "the 'Hope', a portrait of Jesus in oil paint. Wanting to express a great joie de vivre, the works of Romuald CANAS CHICO are both full of life, warmth and movements transmitting a communicative energy.
An ode to life!
Indeed, he is greatly inspired by Spain, its cultural richness, the beauty of its landscapes and its flamboyant ambient colors. A large part of his works is indeed a true hymn to this country.
Numerous exhibitions follow one another in France and abroad (Spain, United States, Israel, Mexico, Belgium) accompanied by distinctions among which many diplomas and medals.
