Cambalache - Enrique Santos Discepolo
That the world was and it will be filth,
I already know...
In the year five hundred and six
and in the year two thousand too!
There always have been thieves,
traitors and victims of fraud,
happy and bitter people,
valuables and imitations
But, that the twentieth century
is a display
of insolent malice,
nobody can deny it anymore.
We lived sunk in a fuzz
and in the same mud
all well-worn...
Cambalache - Enrique Santos Discépolo
Que el mundo fue y sera una porquería,
ya lo sé...
En el quinientos seis
y en el dos mil también!
Que siempre ha habido chorros,
maquiavelos y estafaos,
contentos y amargaos,
valores y dublés...
Pero que el siglo veinte
es un despliegue
de maldad insolente
ya no hay quien lo niegue.
Vivimos revolcaos en un merengue
y en un mismo lodo
todos manoseaos...

I was born in Buenos Aires, Argentina, I've found another home in the United States. I changed careers from Architecture to become a Scenic Artist, which is painting scenery for film, television and theatre. I'm a member of I.A.T.S.E. United Scenic Artists Local 829.
Currently I am the Lead Scenic Artist at the Huntington Theatre Company in Boston, Massachusetts.
Here you can see both my latest scenic work and my fine artist paintings. Most of my work is done in acrylics. And I like to play with a lot of texture.
As a Scenic Artist I have painted for the Opera Boston, Boston Ballet, Boston Conservatory, The Lyrics Stage Company of Boston, American Repertory Theater, 5 Wits, North Shore Music Theatre, Huntington Theatre Company and Cobalt Studios.
In Television and Film I have worked for Sony Pictures, 20th Century Fox, ABC Studios, CBS Television Studios, Paramount Pictures, Radius - TWC and Peninsula Media.
