Rolando Gómez Chávez, nací el 29 de Marzo de 1982, en la ciudad de Ica (Perú). desde la Infancia empecé a desarrollar mi talento Artístico, realizando diferentes copias de pinturas y fotografías publicadas por las revistas Despertad y Atalaya de los Testigos de Jehová; que publican muy buenas fotografías artísticas, fue un paso para aplicar mis cualidades ...que tire la primera piedra el que no ha copiado alguna fotografía.
En mis estudios Secundarios fue donde una profesora de Arte descubrió mi don, desde el primer año empecé a competir con alumnos de todo el colegio incluso con los de 5to grado. Tuve muchos éxitos hasta que finalice mis estudios. Muchos de mis compañeros me inducían a que tome la carrera de Artista Plástico en la ESFAP "Sérvulo Gutiérrez", sin pensarlo dos veces lo hice así.
Hoy he terminado la carrera de Profesor de Educación Artística en la Especialidad de Artes Plásticas y Artista Profesional en la Especialidad de Artes Plásticas Mención Grabado. Me encuentro trabajando en el hotel más importante de la ciudad de Ica "Hotel Las Dunas Sun Resort", como Artista Plástico Comercial (Jefe de Escenografía-Área Animación).
Actualmente realizo mis actividades Artísticas en el Taller Integral "Matriz", ubicado en Urb. La Moderna Los Lirios K-24 (ICA), donde apreciarán mis obras en una exposición permanente, tambien en (ArtistaDatosPAD2_P.php?Art=319)
Me considero un colaborador en este camino amplio y largo del arte, he realizado pequeñas investigaciones acerca de nuestros artistas plásticos que radican en mi ciudad, he tratado de rescatar sus pensamientos y sus conceptos que tarde o temprano formaran parte de nuestra historia. Espero dejar algunas huellas en este camino, para los que lo sigan sepan donde ir.
