"Fine-Arts" prints on paper
It is a process of printing on art paper using very high-quality pigment inks and printed in very high definition. Its level of conservation is exceptional (more than 100 years), its quality, depth, and richness of nuances exceeds the classic photo print on Argentic paper.

Glossy finish
Apart from its exceptional thickness, the fiber paper is composed of an alpha-cellulose base without acid and it is covered with barium sulphate, and a microporous layer absorption enhancing pigments during printing. A pure white color, non-yellowing to light, this paper is especially designed for resistance and aging. It is used by major museums worldwide as it offers excellent resolution, rendering deep and dense colors.

Born in 1952, Robert Charles is a painter and photographer based in Marseille, a vibrant Mediterranean city which exerts a profound influence on his work. Since his youth, he has been captivated by the beauty and complexity of his urban environment, a fascination which is clearly reflected in his creations.
Robert Charles draws his inspiration from the urban landscapes of Marseille, where focal points of light mix with varied colors and nocturnal shadows create striking contrasts. His artistic sensitivity is marked by this interaction between light and darkness, a central element of his pictorial and photographic work.
Marines also occupy an important place in his work. Robert Charles is particularly attracted to the play of reflections on the surface of the water, which he captures with a precision and poetry that reveal his deep connection with nature and the sea.
His art is characterized by great pictorial diversity, combining dynamic urbanity with the tranquility of maritime landscapes. The juxtaposition of these elements creates a visual richness which allows spectators to discover a universe as complex as it is fascinating.
Through his paintings and photographs, Robert Charles invites us to explore the beauty of urban night scenes as well as the serenity of seascapes, thus offering a plural and rich view of its environment. His work is a tribute to the light, colors, and reflections that define his daily life in Marseille.
