Cependant, en s’éloignant du centre, les languettes de cuivre laissent place à une vaste étendue de rouge vif. Cette couleur intense et saisissante représente les rivières de sang versées par la guerre, en particulier le conflit actuel entre la Russie et l’Ukraine. Richard Paquette is a contemporary award-winning Canadian artist. Paquette is a sculptor and painter for fifty years. In recent years his paintings are centered on landscapes and the environment.
He has participated in a number of group shows, as well as a 2016 pair exhibition with painter Sylvia Audet. He was invited to participate as a professional artist in the "Fleur de Macadam" event in Aylmer, Quebec in 2011, La nature en patrimoine at the Mont-Saint-Hilaire Fine Arts Museum in 2017, and the museum's twenty-fifth anniversary celebration in 2020. For the last decade, he has exhibited mainly in museums.
Richard Paquette was born in 1952, in Montreal, Canada.
