Rania Akel is a self-taught artist who rediscovered her creative side and talent during the 2020's quarantine period. Born in Lebanon, living in the Middle East, and coming from the world of finance and banking, she explored art as a means of self-expression and release during tough times. "Art has brought me peace of mind in a somewhat chaotic year amidst a global pandemic that has shattered the norms," she exclaims.
Rania loves blending colors in her artwork. She uses pastels in her paintings on canvas as they can easily blend in to create an optimistic vision. Her artwork is captivating and full of vibrant colors that give hope.
Rania's art portrays the diverse beauty of women worldwide and makes their souls visible. She says, "My drive is to get inspired and inspire others with my art journey as it unfolds.”
