Bien que chacune d’elle recèle d’ahurissants trophées d’anatomie, tératologie ou phrénologie c’est le dit « Système artériel cousu sur toile » dont elle tient à célébrer l’existence. Y explose en effet une vertigineuse arborescence de dendrites minérales, de madrépores fantasmatiques, toutes nées d’un cœur apparaissant comme tout pourri puisqu’il ne bat plus depuis 1780 ! Explications sont clairement données sur la réalisation de ce chef d’œuvre.
