Born May 10, 1990 in Château-Thierry,

Quentin Dbk, a young self-taught artist, stands out for his ability to tame materials.

After four years of training in carpentry with the Compagnons du Devoir; who taught him rigor and where he perfected the work of materials. Aged 20, Quentin Dbk further explores the artistic whole and perfects his style. For two years he put together a catalog of his work, strongly inspired by the visual world of skateboarding and street art.

With his recognized skills, at the beginning of 2013 he acquired teaching from a locally recognized artist. This allowed him to launch himself professionally and full-time into creation. He developed his style through measurement of numerous projects and commissions for illustrations carried out during this supervised period of a little over two and a half years.

His eternal questioning pushes him to to experiment and undertake. Young artist and enriched by this experience. He opened his workshop gallery in Reims in 2015 with the concept of a place of creation, exchange and permanent exhibition to showcase his work in painting on canvas and various preferred techniques.

< p>    His thirst for discovery pushes him to explore different pictorial techniques and different media in order to best express his passion at a given moment.

Over the years and his research, he develops his technical. Gradually moving from figurative to abstraction, from techniques on paper from his beginnings to a modern and sparkling painting on canvas. His latest creations are mainly composed of fluid acrylic on aluminum and backgrounds on canvas worked with knives and brushes.

Inspiring spatial, marine and planetary universes sublimated by the depth of contrasts. He also likes to play with cast shadows for a lively effect depending on the time of day.

His work combines a geometric organization with a search for materials, both colorful and refined, playing on visual perceptions.

With opposing concepts, this artist, between harmony and anarchy, makes his works take on several dimensions suggesting to us, without imposing it on us, a resolution with the contradictions that surround us .
