Née et résidant à Marseille, Christine Barone a depuis très jeune ressenti le besoin de créer.
Autodidacte et pleine de curiosité, elle ne peut rentrer dans une case, se limiter à un seul style. Alors elle expérimente, essaye, tente, échoue, renouvelle, voit ce qui peut exprimer au mieux ce qu’elle a dans les tripes.
En filigrane il y a la valorisation. De chacun d’entre nous. Différents et uniques, avec nos blessures, nos parcours de vie plus ou moins difficiles, les choses que nous mettons de côté pour entrer dans le moule de notre société standardisée. Par ses œuvres, Christine jette un regard bienveillant sur tout cela et nous invite à en faire de même, pour nous et pour les autres.
Mais sa vision du monde est globale. Alors oui, il y a aussi cette nature en proie à la pollution qu’elle ne peut laisser de côté car tout est relié. Christine nous invite aussi à nous interroger sur tout ce plastique qui envahit notre quotidien.
