FRAGMENTS DU PASSÉ… Entre force et fragilité.
J'ai grandi à Bayonne, que j'ai quitté en 1981 pour m'expatrier durant 27 années en Afrique et au Moyen-Orient, où j'exerce le métier d'enseignante.
De retour au Pays Basque je découvre en 2013 la magie de l'argile et d'un simple loisir, la sculpture devient passion.
La statuaire antique est une grande source d'inspiration mais il m'arrive de m'évader sur le thème de l'enfance et là encore, sur sa fragilité.
Modeler, fabriquer, créer...
En 2017, encouragée par mes proches je participe à l'exposition de Halsou et obtiens un premier prix de sculpture. Quelle joie !
Depuis, j'ai participé à plusieurs expositions et les échanges avec artistes et amateurs d'art sont pour moi d'une grande richesse.
Dernière expo: Brouillarta 2018. Prix de la ville de Biarritz, 3ème prix de sculpture.
C'est un grand honneur et un grand bonheur de voir mon travail récompensé.
La sculpture est un moyen d'expression différent, un langage sensible et profond que même la langue la plus riche, la mieux tournée, ne pourra jamais remplacer.
Chacune de ces sculptures raconte une histoire, que chacun entend avec sa sensibilité.
