RYSZARD PIATKOWSKI (b.1949), a Polish painter and industrial art designer based in Lodz. Graduated from Lodz Academy of the Fine Arts in 1974 (diploma in Graphics and Artistic Photography).
Over 30 years of experience in the field of: painting (oil, acrylic, watercolour), drawing (pastel) and industrial design (selected > packaging for Zenith, logo for: 'Swiatowid', University of Lodz – Chair of Biology and Environmental Protection;)
Throughout and after studies, awarded in several Poster Contests. Painting became Piatkowski's main concern in the early 80s, when he focused on oils, acrylics and watercolours. With the new Millennium, his output has been enriched with computer art.
His favourite styles are: abstract and semi-abstract and the prevailing topics concern: landscape and figurative.
Piatkowski’s works are created in a characteristic dynamic form saturated in rich colour.
Participant of solo and group exhibitions, mainly in Poland.
Piatkowski’s works of art are present in state and private collections in Poland and abroad.
