Alain Roméas is a photographer who offers a singular work on the image by a search for movement in the fixity of an image, but also, by a work on light.
He sometimes ventures into extreme coloring, but sometimes he pushes his research into deep blacks. He ventures on the colors restored by the light so mysterious.
He also looks for a framing of the image which does not enclose this image in a context but gives to see something else. Alain Roméas was strongly influenced by Caravaggio, Rembrandt, Velazquez, Hiroshige, or even Hokusai. His work is present in many private collectors.
