Philippe Jan-Beroca is an illustrator artist combining traditional drawing and digital, mixed media. In his work, he gives a special place to the portrait. He takes his models from existing documents or from his camera, draws them and then reworks them on graphics software to finalize them. He offers portraits, paintings, a representation of personalities of places or objects of his own imagination.

Born in 1966 in Montmorency, he showed his talent for drawing very early on and was already scribbling in his school notebook the women represented in the works of Toulouse-Lautrec and Degas. After studying law, he decided to devote all his energy to his passion and ended up spending three years under the tutelage of the engraver Georges Guiraud at the Cité des Artistes on Avenue d'enfer Rochereau in Paris. He then joined the house of Pierre Balmain as an assistant designer of accessories and objects. In 1990, he went to Montreal and New York armed with his camera, taking "the street only in taxis". Back in Paris in 1992, he discovered the world of advertising, as an artistic director for agencies, Y&R, Publicis, BETC and other advertising agencies. Philippe Beroca has incorporated the right mix of drawing classics and digital innovation.
