It is a process of printing on art paper using very high-quality pigment inks and printed in very high definition. Its level of conservation is exceptional (more than 100 years), its quality, depth, and richness of nuances exceeds the classic photo print on Argentic paper.
Glossy finish
Apart from its exceptional thickness, the fiber paper is composed of an alpha-cellulose base without acid and it is covered with barium sulphate, and a microporous layer absorption enhancing pigments during printing. A pure white color, non-yellowing to light, this paper is especially designed for resistance and aging. My wife and I live on an acreage outside Perry, Iowa where we raise various plants and animals. We are both emerging artists.
I am driven by a desire to « Conceptualize « new ways of creating art through the use of many different mediums and extensive imagination. I have worked for the last several years on this effort and am starting to produce works that show my development.
My background as a museum curator and American Studies M. A. have given me the training to develop these works. I regularly exhibit works by midwestern and regionalist artists as part of my job and continually gain an appreciation for all of their many individual styles. My wife and I have some of our works in a local gallery called the Mary Rose where we both sell some of our pieces. We look forward to sharing our art journey with many more art enthusiasts and collectors.
