For the last 13 years, I have been spending at least one month in Iceland every year, sometimes coming four times a year. I need this country as much as I need air, only there I can truly recharge myself. I first saw the Icelandic Glacial Rivers in 2012 on a short plane ride. It was a picture which has since never let me go. Everything became easier when good drones appeared. Now shooting rivers from the air is one of my main inspirations for Icelandic trips. I can walk tens of kilometers on muddy soil in order to be able to reach the most distant and hard-to-reach rivers. By 2024, I realized that I had enough material to create my first collection of Icelandic glacial rivers. I thought long about the name for this collection, I had to find a word in which one could fit the whole spectrum of emotions that overwhelmed me when I saw Iceland from the air. Exulansis. It is the tendency to give up trying to talk about an experience because people are unable to relate to it.
