Pauline Della Pera is a contemporary French artist whose work is deeply inspired by literature, art history, and counter-culture. She blends darkness, humor, and poetry in her creations, which, much like fairy tales, invite multiple interpretations—both dark and luminous. Her works reflect the human experience: quirky, troubled, and a bit flawed, yet imbued with a beauty intended to console.
Initially trained as a cultural mediator, Pauline developed her own artistic practice while working in an art hive in Montreal, where she experimented with automatic drawing and created her first monochromatic pieces. Upon returning to France, she revisited her childhood interest in pottery, crafting ceramic sculptures and objects that tell stories and conceal secrets. Her work serves as a medium for material exploration and fosters a dialogue with the world and the people she encounters.
