The artist's inspiration for the creation of her works is born out of order, sometimes a thought, an image or a sensation remains in the mind to be subsequently transferred and transformed on the canvas.
Some of the proposed works They represent characters whose faces and intentions are not revealed by the author. This creates a visual attraction that pushes the viewer to repeatedly wonder what is happening. The choice of cutting the figures and proposing only a few fragments suggests either imagining the missing part or stopping at the apparently banal details that the painting enriches with meaning.
The Miraflores triptych is inspired to the white and hazy light characteristic of the Lima sky, when the fog hides the sun and dissipates the contours, making unreal and faded images appear.
The works Lovers and Almas They are portraits of fantastic figures, dreamlike presence, timeless faces represented in indefinite spaces.
The last canvases belong to a series, not yet finished, titled Vie di fuga. Out-of-scale animals are protagonists in scenarios alien to their own habitat, perhaps in search of shelter, perhaps fleeing, perhaps in the emptiness of loneliness or to show us our inner animal, our feeling out of place. The viewer chooses where to be transported by what he sees.
