My intention was to convey a feeling of tranquility and presence. Without the distraction of color, the eye is drawn to the graceful curves and gentle contours of the woman's form. The ripples surrounding her evoke a sense of movement in pause. Yet above all, I wanted to reflect the calm and focus embodied in her expression.
By framing the shot closely around her, I hoped to create an intimate portrait where the water surface acts as a minimalist background. This pared-down aesthetic amplifies the purity and timelessness of the scene. Ultimately, 'Woman in Water' aims to distill the essence of quietude, simplicity, and stillness within a singular human moment."
