Ombretta Buongarzoni was born in Urbisaglia on the evocative top floor of an old hospital. Marchigiana, from the Marca Macerata. Her journey as a painter began in 2009 after a long illness. Self-taught he does not suffer the often negative influences of mannerist academisms and this is why his works are free to express themselves without conditioning dictated by techniques inculcated by false schools of knowledge. The research and study of being able to transpose the vision onto the canvas lead to dreamlike results that slide perfectly into the subconscious of reality, becoming unique with the soul of the artist who does not hide but rather lives in his creations without filters of any kind, making its very permanence a work of art in progress. Ombretta Buongarzoni belongs to the street, she, the dust, the sweat, the tears, the earth, a living and vibrant nature belongs to her and her life, a whole. She lost her way home when she was very young, at the age of twenty-five she lost her brother, her soul mate, also a painter. Since then he has been searching, studying, exuding art, painting, music, theatre. For years he dabbled as a street artist by "guessing" in the most varied cities of Italy. He is always in the continuous search for a cosmic intimacy through holistic disciplines such as meditation, biodance etc. He travels, works, consumes his existence in pure irreverent and amusing “comic conceptualism” transforms his pain into joy and harmony like the creatures of his paintings and stones.
