"Montenegrin irises" - this painting was created in the wake of a recent trip to the beautiful country of Montenegro. I was there in the spring, in March, the weather was warm and nature was already waking up after the winter - everything began to bloom around. I walked a lot, went to coastal old towns, climbed the mountains. And leaving, at the airport, my husband bought me a bouquet of irises from a local grandmother. While we were flying in an airplane, the flowers wilted, but at home, when I put it out of a vase of water, they came to life. These irises were my inspiring nature for several days - I painted them many times. In this picture the warmth and beauty of spring Montenegro are stored!
I really love watercolor for its lightness and transparency, for the unpredictability of color transitions. No artwork is repeated, because watercolor is itself spontaneity and confidence in the flow of creativity. I recommend placing the painting in a frame with a passepartout, with glass, better white. In it the picture will retain its airiness and flower freshness!
In the lower right corner the painting is signed by me, also the painting has a certificate of authenticity.
Colors may vary slightly due to monitor differences.
