Olena Kucher is a contemporary Ukrainian artist. Born with a passion for painting, Olena's journey as an artist has been marked by her dedication to realism and the meticulous use of oil as her preferred medium. Her creations delve into vintage and antique themes, capturing the imagination of art enthusiasts with a keen interest in the past. Her still life paintings, in particular, have become a focal point of public admiration, drawing attention to the exquisite details and emotions embedded in each piece.
Olena's artistic roots extend back to the 17th century Dutch painters, whose works continue to inspire her. It is this connection to the past that makes oil painting her medium of choice. Her preference for noble and muted colors on the palette adds a timeless quality to her pieces, echoing the aesthetic charm of the Dutch masters she admires. Painting from photo to order
Hi!
Today I'm painting a copy of a bespoke painting! The original composition dates back to the 16th century. It is, of course, a canvas, oil on canvas. I have moved away from the layered execution technique, as the customer is looking forward to the finished work and asking for it as soon as possible.
