"Fine-Arts" prints on paper
It is a process of printing on art paper using very high-quality pigment inks and printed in very high definition. Its level of conservation is exceptional (more than 100 years), its quality, depth, and richness of nuances exceeds the classic photo print on Argentic paper.

Glossy finish
Apart from its exceptional thickness, the fiber paper is composed of an alpha-cellulose base without acid and it is covered with barium sulphate, and a microporous layer absorption enhancing pigments during printing. A pure white color, non-yellowing to light, this paper is especially designed for resistance and aging. It is used by major museums worldwide as it offers excellent resolution, rendering deep and dense colors.

Bernard Filippi was born in Tox (Corsica) in 1950.
He is part of the artistic section of the Lycée de Bastia. After studying plastic arts at the University of Paris I, he teaches at the Lycée Honoré de Balzac in Paris. From 1995, he teaches at the University of Paris XIII.
Painter, engraver and lithographer, he has participated since 1970 in several salons and events in France and abroad. He exhibits regularly in Paris, Corsica and L'Isle-sur-La Sorgue.
IN 1973, with Ange Leccia, Jean paul Pancrazi and Antoine Graziani, he is the founder of the "Groupe Tox" which inaugurates a series of exhibitions at the Maison des jeunes et de la culture in Bastia which will become the UNA VOLTA centre.
With François RETALI and Jean-Louis FIESCHI (Falellu) he runs the association pour la valorisation de l'Art (AVA) which from 1991 to 2005 organized exhibitions at Patrimoniu (cave Orenga) in Penta, Bonifacio, London, Brussels, Paris.
He published several works by bibliophilia or his creations accompany the poems of Antoine Graziani. Jean Louis Giovannoni, Guy Cloutier. He is today, representative of creators in plastic arts at the economic, social, economic, environmental and cultural council of Corsica.
"I paint to see, to see painting actions and for what it triggers and triggers, what happens.
Painting, perhaps I should say color, has always had a tremendous effect on my mind and is probably the only thing that matters to me , what happens to me when I paint.
I am above all pretentious and naive to believe that this experience can be useful and understandable for others, the 'human brothers who will live after us'. Above all this work must be beneficial for all those who look, dare to undertake this journey of vision to which painting always invites us".
Bernard Filippi's painting produces the sensation of a solar vision. Like Matisse who precisely came to Ajaccio to meet the light, Filippi feeds on the violent light of the island summers.
Colour is the starting point, the raw material, it always animates the canvas to transcribe the emotions experienced. To paraphrase Picasso about Matisse again: «Bernard Filippi has color in his belly»
