Odysseas Rekoumis

My name is Rekoumis Odysseas, I was born in Corinth and I have been living in Athens since 2002. My great love is painting through which I express myself and create. Painting for me is a path that leads me to discover parts of myself and helps me externalize my feelings. So far I have participated in 2 group exhibitions, in the Greek-French Association (The art is more than blood) and in the Athens Art Festival (The art is light).In the last period of time I work mainly with pencils and charcoal as a basic material and complementary acrylics. In general I like the combination of realism and abstract in my works as well as using mixed media and constantly experimenting. My work is greatly influenced by the combination of spirit and matter from outside and the combination of abstract art and realism
