Sanatçı 1955 yılında İZMİR Kemalpaşa doğumlu olup İZMİR CUMHURİYET KIZ MESLEK LİSESİ mezunudur.Çok istemesine rağmen çeşitli nedenlerden dolayı aile baskısı sonucu resimden uzaklaştırılmıştır.Tam 30 yıl aradan sonra sanatçı ŞEVKAT İŞLEGEN atölyesinde resim çalışmalarına başlamıştır.Resimlerinde figüratif soyut ön plandadır dışavurumcudur iç dünyasını betimleyerek tuvallere yansıtmaktadır.Kadın vede dünyası onun için kutsaldır .Kadınların tam olarak özgürlüklerine kavuşacaklarına esaret zincirlerini bir gün mutlaka kıracaklarına inanmaktadır.
KADINLAR SUDAKİ YAĞ DAMLASIDIR.
Bu sanatçının sözü onunla özleşmiştir şu anda suda bir damla yağ olabilirler ama birgün çoğalarak su altta yağ üste kalacaktır tıpkı kadınlarımız gibi.
Sanatçı şu anda çalışmalarına evindeki atölyesinde devam etmektedir.
