Norris Yim is a contemporary Chinese artist. His main artistic work is a series of colored portraits with bleeding strokes, simple structures, and a brilliant blend of familiar and unfamiliar things. People bury their original appearance to survive in capitalism and hypocritical living, and new faces replace the old ones, even applying heavy makeup to create a new self-forgetting self, with hypocrisy and fear of life.
