Nolwenn Samson is a contemporary French painter. For more than a decade, Nolwenn Samson has dedicated herself to the creation of her intricate worlds on canvas. Within these worlds, characters come to life, their emotions shifting between the enigmatic trio of revolvers, mottos, and thought-provoking quotes, all observed through the lens of an amused domestic menagerie. 

Driven by an innate passion, Nolwenn Samson is self-taught in every sense. Her educational path briefly intersected with a period at a school of applied arts in Marseilles, where she delved into the pleasures of illustration and graphic design. Presently, she channels her expressions through acrylics, inks, resins, and markers, employing these mediums to convey her unique artistic impulses. Her creations exude a captivating blend of naivety, edginess, and above all, an unapologetic femininity. These impulses materialize on expansive canvases, sometimes reaching monumental dimensions of up to 300x300 cm.

Nolwenn Samson's work is a perpetual work in progress, forever in motion. It conjures reminiscences of artistic luminaries such as Basquiat, Keith Haring, and Warhol, as well as the vibrant aesthetics of street art and the cinematic cadences of Tarantino and Kitano – all direct influences that shape her creations. From the walls of galleries to the exhibition venues that span Paris, Marseille, and Miami, her artworks have traversed a diverse range of settings. Now, her pieces have transcended into auction rooms, marking a significant milestone in her artistic journey.
