Noëlle HUIN née en 1951 à Laronxe, un petit village de Lorraine en France.
Très jeune elle s’intéresse au dessin et plus particulièrement aux portraits, fascinée par les émotions que peuvent transmettre les visages.
Des cours en ateliers à Nancy ont été bénéfiques après un premier prix en 2006 (femme girafe).
La peinture figurative devient rapidement sa passion, elle peint des séries bucoliques et champêtres avec beaucoup de poésie, elle utilise des couleurs douces et des contrastes délicats pour créer une ambiance paisible et contemplative.
Elle se rend dans le sud, attirée par des villages perchés authentiques qui ont su préserver leurs âmes au fil des siècles. Là elle découvre une lumière incomparable, une végétation différente, pins, oliviers, lavandes, le thym et le romarin dans les garigues, ces senteurs qui enivrent et des couleurs qui éveillent les sens accompagnées du chant des cigales. Tous ces éléments l’invitent à peindre, elle développe sa technique au couteau par de multiples touches fragmentées ou le mélange se fait directement sur la toile pour créer des effets de lumière et de contraste et parfois la passion des portraits ressurgit.
Son style unique et sa grande sensibilité en font une artiste.
Son œuvre « Angomont » a été sélectionnée en 2022 pour la couverture du dernier roman de l’écrivain Denis Lainé « un village si tranquille et pourtant… ».
L’œuvre « Tina Turner » est parue dans la revue Univers des Arts en 2024.
