My name is OLANIYI OMOTAYO. I was born on 10th of September 1995. I’m a self-taught artist who has always loved drawing right from childhood. I was born and brought up in Akure, Ondo State.
My parents were not in support of my drawing attitude while I was growing up because I used to mess up my notebooks and textbooks with sketches and scribbles. Despite the discouragement and punishment I got from my teachers and parents, I didn't give up on my passion.
I started art professionally at my first year in the university even though I was studying Business Administration. I was part of a club called ARA (Association of Revolutionary Artists) in school which consisted of artists with like minds. We shared a lot of ideas together and organized several exhibitions.
I finished my course at the University as the best graduating student in my department and with a first class. In spite of my academic feat, I didn't abandon my passion "art". I moved to Lagos and continued as a full time artist after obtaining my bachelor's degree.
