FERME D ALPAGE (2013) Painting by Nicodi

No prestigious school in my artistic curriculum... but reading, drawing, painting, writing, have always been life companions... Curious and observant, from a very young age I began to draw and paint nature – trees, flowers, landscapes…. My references, the Impressionists – the Expressionists – the Fauves…. And then one day I dared to give free rein to my emotions and my imagination to free my hand on the canvas.... During my exhibitions, for many years, in France and abroad, meeting a public sensitive to my creations was a source of joy and sharing. I define myself as a figurative painter, but playing with shapes, colors and materials, I place myself more in an “Expressionist” register. My palette and my themes are varied… everything can be a source of inspiration… My regular exhibitions over the last twenty-five years have taken me to various regions of France, but also to Germany, Belgium, Spain, the United States, Italy, Morocco, Poland, Russia) several of my works are present in private collections . I have appeared among the permanent artists of several galleries in Paris and the provinces and in the online gallery catalogs at the Hôtel des Ventes de LAUSANNE in Switzerland. Today, age forces me to reduce my travel, but I continue to paint and my paintings are exhibited in my studio in SOUVIGNY (03200) and visible during open days that I regularly organize... Listed artist since 2013, I am also a member of artistic associations in Auvergne......
