Tell us a bit about your background
I began to study and draw from very small samples at first with a focus on animals and portraits. After studying graphic design and advertising, I became the official artist of the Heraldic College of Argentina.

Tell us a bit more about being Argentinian. Did being immersed in such a rich cultural environment influence your decision to become an artist?
I believe I was born with a natural inclination towards arts. My Italian background combined with the rich artistic community in Argentina defined my way without a doubt.

What inspired you to become an artist?
I think there was always in me the need to express myself in this way.

What is your preferred painting style and why?
My style is photorealism and hyperrealism or work in pencil. This provides a constant challenge in my work.

What subjects/passions do you like to paint/illustrate and why?
Decidedly cars, classic, collection. It is the perfect assembly between the two things that I love.

Car art is generally a subject of focus for male painters. How does it feel to be a dominant female figure in such a traditionally male orientated subject arena?
It is true that Motoring Art has predominantly been a male dominated form of art. My presence in this media always generates surprises. I feel very well accepted which makes me extremely comfortable

Do you see the car subjects differently compared to your male counterparts?
As a woman, I see automobiles primarily as objects of art, while my male colleagues are more inclined to focus on the engineering and mechanical aspects.

Where do you find your inspiration from?
When it comes to Motoring Art, I never lack inspiration. As long as the material is there, that’s everything that I could want.

What piece of artwork are you most proud of and why?
There are many, but I think what gave me great satisfaction was the Ferrari 599, which can be found on ArtofBrands. It was discovered on the internet by Ferrari of Switzerland and that particular artwork became their official poster for an event they hosted.

How do you create such hyper-realistic images?
The main ingredients of my hyperrealistic drawing technique include a thorough observation of the details of the composition and a great deal of patience to meticulously reflect them… I emphasize the main role of the shine in different components such as light units, window glasses, and chrome accents. I developed a special technique to create realistic colors through the use of polychromatic pens.

If you had not become an artist, what would you be doing right now?
I cannot imagine anything other than what I am. My career has put me in very interesting places, allowing achievements internationally, as well as helping me meet important figures of the medium.

What would you say to those who are aspiring to become an artist just like you?
They should put all their energy on what they want to achieve as it can be a difficult profession to ascend in. Sometimes it's a long way, but definitely worth it!

Any last thoughts you would like to add?
Art is something beautiful, whether we we’re born with the gift to manifest through it or not, we enjoy it and deepen our understanding of life. Personally, I paint with the soul.
