I started this series at the beginning of the 2000s.
I am interested in antiquity as we understand it now. The sculpture and architecture of ancient Greece inspire me with ancient color, sometimes yellowish, plasticity of figures with fantastic aspects. Folds of clothes are able to convey emotions and state of mind. The texture of various materials pasted on canvas convey human feelings.
I try to interpret the images of the classical (antique) time. I think that this is characteristic in the turn of the times, periods of change in moral and aesthetic ideals. This experience of the human race is always present with us. What do they want to tell us? I am trying to find answers for myself through art.

The painting was made using acrylic and pieces of fabric glued to canvas. The fabric is very flexible and adheres well to the canvas; they are identical because canvas is also fabric. Pieces of fabric help me create volume and feel the texture of the images even better.

Biography
Natalia Kaza lives and works in Greece, Athens. Graduated from the School of Fine Arts in Odessa (Ukraine). He was involved in painting, scenography, decoration and teaching painting. Since 1989 he lives and works in Athens. He became a member of it Chamber of Visual Arts of Greece (EETE) and the Artists Association of Visual Arts of Central Greece (SKETKE). Natalia works in oils, acrylics on canvas, mixed media and pastels. She is inspired by the beauty of life and people. More than 800 of her works are in private collections around the world.

The exhibition will take us on a journey through the myths associated with the goddess of beauty and love, Aphrodite. Through the particular visual perspective and the distinct touch of the three painters who will exhibit in the two-story space of the Thalia Gallery, we will experience different myths from the life of Aphrodite, from her birth through the sea, to the passion and jealousy of love and the vanity created by her beauty.
