Born in 1979 in Thionville in Moselle, Myriam Carl Tonnelier graduated from Modern Literature, graduated from the school teacher competition in 2001, chose through her five years of university studies to develop solid knowledge in poetry, art history, arts plastic and visual arts, music, dance and bodily expression.
She decided to teach in schools in disadvantaged neighborhoods, relying on artistic education in order to allow students in difficulty to find meaning in their learning, to promote self-expression and strengthen self-esteem.
She initiated numerous partnerships and projects which allowed them to go on stage in large halls in Moselle, to exhibit various visual works and to win a poetry prize from the European Center for the Promotion of Arts and Cultures. Letters. She became a teacher trainer in 2012 and an educational advisor in 2014. She supports school teachers with great commitment.
It encourages new projects for a larger number of students, particularly in the artistic field. Her journey and her great investment in others have led her since 2020 to take a path of listening to herself, to follow her deep intuition, to free her creativity and place, today, art at the heart and center of her life .
There she finds her identity, her freedom and her constantly renewed inspiration, her expression which overflows and supports her, what is most authentic in her, what she is. Her creativity is, according to her, the language of the soul. And this is undoubtedly why his works are so sensitive and profound. His art is a look at the world, at the beauty of nature, of the outside; just as much as it is a reflection of the inner self.
It feeds on this permanent dialogue between one and the other, seizes it, plays with it, questions it and weaves it. It was only in January 2023 that she dared to share her art on social networks. In June, the town of Maizières les Metz in Moselle exhibited its first photography in the Brieux park during the Maiz'images photo festival. In September, two of his works are exhibited at Zurich station in Switzerland.
