The long, cold, dull winter in St. Petersburg, where I live, makes my heart sad. The gray sky does not want to turn blue, the north wind brings endless clouds, snow or rain. But I found a magic door that leads to a space of sun, warmth and bright colors - this is the creation of paintings. I create worlds filled with light and joy on canvas, I convey my great desire to be there and, with every stroke of paint, with every stroke of the brush, they become more voluminous and more realistic and, finally, begin to send living warm vibrations back to me. This is how I understand that the painting is complete, that its world exists in reality, that its owner will feel the soul of this magical image. The painting “Tired of the heat” takes the viewer to a hot summer afternoon, when you can hide in the shade, swim under the streams of a waterfall and endlessly admire the depth of the southern sky.

Marina Venediktova, a contemporary Russian painter, embarked on her artistic journey by graduating from an art school in Kazan. In 2007, she made a significant move to St. Petersburg, where she honed her skills through years of practice in private workshops with artists affiliated with the Art Academy of St. Petersburg.

As a complement to her artistic pursuits, Marina pursued a second education, graduating from the Academy of Astrology. This additional dimension to her knowledge included extensive practice in consulting with clients. Over the past six years, astrology has not only enriched her life but also served as a unique inspiration for a new phase in her artistic endeavors.

Marina's paintings now reflect a profound depth, as she sees the world and its inhabitants through a lens shaped by her astrological insights.
