It's fascinating to read about the Norse world of gods in the saga written in Snorre's book collections; Edda. According to the book, the pig Særimne is eaten during the day, but is just as whole and alive in the evening. Imagine having such a pig, just like the Vikings believed. It would have been quite a saving!
