Born in Marseilles into a family of sailors...my grandfather Commander of the Messageries Maritimes, his father chief engineer, his grandfather Cap-Hornier...it seemed natural to me from childhood to draw ports, boats and the sea...

then there were dinghies, sailing in the Mediterranean, travel...

The color came later, and the desire to revive the old hulls, but also the sailboats and the ports...

Each painting is a story, an encounter or a dream...

the sea, Morocco, the Silk Road, the West Indies, the painting workshop, the scenes of life, the faces and the places have all imposed themselves on me, colorful journeys tinged with imagination...
