Mitchell Rosenzweig was born in West Orange, N.J. in 1954. Received a degree in Forestry , from the University of New Hampshire, in 1978, where he also studied drawing and furniture design. After a job with the Forest Service in The White Mountain National Forest, returned to New Jersey and attended painting courses for two semesters at Montclair State University. Then finished BFA studies at Penn State University in 1982. Worked as a carpenter, furniture restorer, and videographer. Created over a dozen short films that have been viewed at nine different film festivals.
Lives and works in Asbury Park NJ.
