Everest in clouds (2019) Painting by Miłka Mazurek-Zielaskiewicz

I was born and I live in Gdańsk.
In 2000, I started my artistic education at the prestigious Secondary Art School in Gdynia Orłowo.
As a teenager, I chose utility forms as a direction of study.
In 2005, I obtained a diploma in the specialization: metalwork.
I graduated high school with an excellent grade in sculpture. It seemed obvious that I would continue my education in that direction.
However, sculpture did not give me a satisfaction.
I choose the Architecture and Design department at the Gdańsk Academy of Fine Arts.
Five years later, I graduated Interior Architecture.
I returned to painting 10 years after finishing my education.
I have matured that I want to paint, not that I have to.
Painting is for me a calming therapy.
