Michael Levchenko was born in Kyiv in 1976. His mother was a graphic designer, and his father was a painter and architect, which allowed the boy to be involved in art from an early age. Michael Levchenko began sculpting at the Ukrainian National Art School when he was only 15 years old. The inspired artist started out creating figurative art that gradually evolved into abstraction. Abstraction gave Michael Levchenko complete freedom and the ability to shape the space both intellectually and emotionally. His works are in the collections of the International Sculpture Park in Aya Napa (Cyprus), the Museum of Contemporary Art in Volterra (Italy), and the Museum of Contemporary Art in Roldan (Argentina), not to mention numerous private collections throughout the globe.
