     Max Dhumerelle, artiste du sud de la france, d’est en ouest il parcourt les villes en quête d’expérience visuel et social. Après un Master création artistique à Toulouse où il rédige un mémoire sur l’entre-images et l’art comme expérience, il continue d’explorer formes et matières en passant de la photographie à la peinture, de la vidéographie au tatouage. La pratique artistique étant pour lui comme sa ventoline, s’exprimer par l’art, le sport ou la musique devient rapidement ses maîtres mots. Il s’inspire de l’art contemporain, des mix-média, du néoexpressionisme, du tatouage, de la BD,  mais également de l’iconographie des civilisations antiques ou de l’anatomie humaine et animal.  La création devient un processus de méditation, de canalisation de son énergie, mais aussi un moyen d’explorer un langage qu’il lui semble universel.
Max Dhum explore support et matière et redéfinit ainsi ce qu’il nomme espace mentale: Lieu imaginaire et malléable propre à chacun, une forme de mémoire cache, d’espace ou s’entrelace formes et matières. Rencontres esthétiques, errances plastiques des images qui constamment s’altèrent, se transforment, se dilate et s’épaississent à la fois.
