A self-taught painter, I have been painting since the age of 12, following the family example of my father, an amateur painter, and my uncle, a painter on the Place du Tertre in Montmartre.
After giving my works to family and friends, I began to exhibit in restaurants, in group exhibitions within an association and a few individual exhibitions. Normandy has long been my source of inspiration. Having arrived in Brittany about fifteen years ago, I have always painted very colorful landscapes, with tortured skies, I was seduced by the ambient light and by maritime themes. On each canvas, I express my emotions by representing landscapes that I choose and that I love. The small ports of Brittany and the effects of the sea have become my favorite subjects. My techniques are mainly oil painting and gouache but I also work with watercolor.
