TROIS GRÂCES 1 (2013) Painting by Yorgos Maryelis

Yorgos Maryelis born in Athens. From a young age he came into contact with the world of art, as his father was the famous painter and professor of plastic and applied arts, Costas Maryelis.

STUDIES
He completed the first period of studies from 1958-1962 in Athens, where he will be honored with four prize studies ..
For two years attending classes in his studio Costas Maryelis.
.The Integration of artistic studies, as well as the recognition of his talent, held in Paris studied in drawing point and painting with the professor the famous sculptor and painter tondiethnous Constandin Andreou.



EXHIBITIONS
He has participated and presented his work in numerous individual and group exhibitions since 1963 (with authority to Z Pan Zappeio) until today, in Greece and abroad,
(Most jury for approval of participation.)
The last solo exhibition in Athens, was in May 2007 and the last general solo in Greece took place in July 2010 with great success, within the framework of cultural events on Lefkas

The project entitled "oath" took the painting prize
in The National Art Exhibition, organized
the Parnassus Literary Society in Athens in April 2010
