HAPPINESS IS EASY. Die Idee zu dieser neuen Serie entstand im Jahr 2021 als der Künstler eine langjährige (75 Jahre) Studie der Harvard University über das „glücklich sein“ las.
Jeder von uns definiert Glück anders. Für den einen ist es ein schickes Auto, für andere die große Liebe oder ein pralles Bankkonto. Tatsächlich braucht der Mensch zum glücklich sein nur eines: Beziehungen, egal in welcher Form. Nichts macht uns glücklicher als eine enge Bindung zu einem anderen Menschen. Daraus entstand die Idee einer abstrakten Werkserie, die unterschiedliche Gefühlswelten in einer engen Bindung darstellen. Die Werke sind nummeriert, haben keinen Namen, um dem Betrachter die gefühlsmäßige Entscheidung zu überlassen.
