Prema (Risto)

Prema, also known as Risto, is a versatile artist whose journey reflects a relentless quest for discovery and creativity. Born with an insatiable appetite for art and wellness, she now lives and works between Norway, France, Greece, Spain, and various other locations that have nourished her artistic and spiritual practice.

Her artistic journey began in Norway, where she spent two years at Einar Granum Kunstskole, a renowned art school. She continued her studies at the École des Beaux-Arts in Aix-en-Provence in France, where she perfected her skills for three years in the art of drawing and painting. This academic training is followed by a deep commitment to the practice of yoga, with two years of training alongside masters trained by Swami Janakananda Sarasvati, who deeply influence him both spiritually and creatively.

Her desire for exploration then took her to Greece for four years of painting, where she immersed herself in artistic practices while following Reiki initiations, with a particular emphasis on the first and second degrees under the guidance of the master. Extended stays in Spain, ranging from three weeks to six months, allow Prema to refine her art and connect with new cultural inspirations. She also engages in meditative and psychic practices, collaborating with a group dedicated to self-realization and healing.

Her spiritual journey was accompanied by a new personal milestone when she became a Reiki master under the teaching of Sonny Hendrichs of San Francisco. At the same time, she built a house, created a garden and became a mother at 38, integrating these new dimensions of her life into her art.

Today, Prema is dedicated to working with live models, painting on silk and creating artistic cards. His work is a reflection of his many influences and experiences, blending traditional artistic techniques with modern spiritual practices, while continuing to explore the depths of artistic and personal expression.
