El Artista Manuel G. Mariscal originario de Mexico, realizo sus estudios pictoricos desde 1945, en la Escuela de Bellas Artes de la Universidad de Guadalajara, Jalisco; posteriormente en la Real Academia de Pintura y Ceramica de la Moncloa en Madrid, España. Realizo sus estudios y seminarios privados en Francia, Italia y Estados Unidos de America.
Exbecario del Instituto de Cultura Hispanica y del Colegio Mayor de Guadalupe en Madrid, España.
Un aspecto de su arte es la Iconografia, creada con un estilo personalisimo de la Belleza Universal con reminiscencias de Arte Bizantino.
Entre los distinguidos coleccionistas estan, su Majestad Juan Carlos de Borbon, Don Gregorio Marañon Jr. y el Instituto de Cultura Hispanica en Madrid, España; en Suecia El Konst Museum de Arte moderno Gotemburgo; en Francia, Paris y Ruan, Colecciones Privadas; en Roma, Italia, El Vaticano tiene una obra, asi como en su Coleccion Privada, el Excelentisimo Cardenal Sebastiano Baggio y otros distinguidos coleccionistas.
Sus Exhibiciones se han expuesto en Balboa Art Institute de San Diego, California, U.S.A., Instituto de la Cultura Hispanica de Madrid, España, The Public Library de la Jolla, California, U.S.A., Departamento de Turismo de Mexico, en San Diego, California, U.S.A., Konst Museum de Gotermburgo, Suecia y el Museo Nacional de Kiev de Ucrania.
