Self-taught, her work has developed from the beginning on the boundaries between sculpture, painting and site-specific installation. The search for creative freedom and constant research guide a process of abandoning norms and deconstruction, distillation and purification. Her installation works usually include projections with optical lenses, manipulated books, manipulated photographs, etc. In her most recent works she focuses on the human being as an individual and as a social being, on forms of domination, gender, the violence of war and ecology. She recently received a “Cultivacultura” award from the Provincial Council of Pontevedra and has been selected for the Isaac Díaz Pardo Competition of the Provincial Council of A Coruña. She has exhibited individually in venues such as La Iglesia de La Universidad de Santiago, Sala Maruja Mayo in Vigo, Casa de Galicia in Madrid, O Vello Cárcere in Lugo, Museo Liste and Sala Apóstrophe in Vigo, Pazo Torrado in Cambados, Auditorio de Cangas. He has carried out site-specific installations, among others, at the Museu dos Terceiros, Capela das Pereiras and Museu do Brinquedo in Ponte de Lima, Casa do Comercio in Braga, O Vello cárcere in Lugo, Sala de Arquitectos in Vigo, etc. He has participated in numerous collective exhibitions in Spain, Portugal, the United Kingdom, the United States, Italy, Germany and Argentina. His work is part of international private collections.
